Hi, I'm Anais (anna-ees)- that’s short for Ana Isabel. I am currently working at Digital FEMSA, where I strive to change the life of mexicans by designing a digital products for day to day life. Prior to this role, I worked in PepsiCo, driving digital employee experience transformation through design thinking & doing, and on making financial services available and understandable for mexicans at Citibanamex.
I consider myself a nimble, strategic thinker with a designer's heart and drive. I have a unique background (graphic design and psychology) that enables me to understand business challenges, address their complexity and provide simple solutions. I also believe that understanding your users and acknowledging their needs and frustrations is the key to improving functionality and ease of use, while creating experiences that delight and empower.
I am a designer who believes that without great strategy, good design cannot succeed.
I’m fascinated by how the brain works and want to understand what truly motivates our behaviors, which is why I pursued a degree in psychology. With this, I have discovered that design is much more than finding that sweet spot between space, typography and color: design is finding solutions to problems, which can only be achieved by understanding human factors and motivations, and how the translate into screens.
Besides design, I am passionate about running, interior design, and art. Additionally, I am enthusiastically preparing to become a certified sommelier, diving deep into the fascinating world of wines.
